One of our puppies, she still has accidents once every couple months. It is frustrating and disruptive to wake up to a giant poop on the floor.
She has a heart murmur - when she is worked up, she loses the ability to control her bladder. Her stress is directly correlated to our household stress levels.
Despite my frustration, I understand that picking up poop is a part of loving her. She can’t help how her body responds to stimulus and does her very best.
There are so many ‘accidents’ that disrupt our daily lives. So much beyond our ability to control, It’s wild that when she poops on the floor - it means I need to take a breather. Her stress reflects my stress.
