Holiday breaks

Time with family is necessary. Space to recharge the batteries is good. But, it can be challenging to slow down with the rest of the world.

It’s easy to just ignore holidays and keep grinding. We get stuck in startup mode. When you’ve forgotten what a weekend is and are responsible 24/7 for your business, Labor Day can just sneak up on you.

Thanksgiving can feel like a burden. The two weeks around Christmas break when people aren’t working is brutal.

I am working hard to take advantage of the pace and get recharged for the upcoming year. I don’t slow down well. Never have. The momentum we built won’t die if I am in a food coma for a day and climbing desert towers another.
