posturing
The official definition of posturing is, “behavior that is designed to impress or mislead”. To me - posture really only means sitting up straight. For my personal gain.
It makes sense; that its original meaning was about looking a certain way for the sake of others. I think this definition has spun pretty far from the traditional intention.
I am intrigued that there is so much flexibility in it: just behavior. Words, body language, expressions.
Is it possible to posture on Zoom? What does that mean? I guess you could say that presenting without pants on satiates the definition of posturing.
