Building in public is a beautiful thing. Conceptually, I am infatuated with it. Feedback is gospel. There is nothing worth more than direct input from the people using the platform. In order to receive good feedback (and more importantly embrace transparency & trust), you have to communicate effectively the decisions we are making.
The nuances of tech escape me. I don’t quite understand the depth of each project or the risk of each decision. The root of the issue is that we share what we’re excited about. We’re over the moon excited about our new technology, but the minor choices that lead to the end product, certainly don’t excite me.
To resolve this issue, I decided to start working closer with the tech team to produce meaningful updates for the tech lovers in our community. We know you’re out there.
