I love advertisements. I like watching them and analyzing them. That comes from growing up with a dad in the marketing business. He always asked me to consider the intention of ads. What were they trying to accomplish? What decisions went into this purchase?
I have watched the marketing industry go through a monster conversion. From mass marketing to direct marketing. The difference between the two could not be more vast. I will dive into these concepts slightly deeper in future blog posts. TV is mass marketing. You can’t really measure success. So effectiveness is about the placement & opportunity.
Commercials make me intrigued. Lots of money spent on a super variable proposition.
